Backstage News On Ethan Page’s WWE Status

Ethan Page has positioned himself well inside WWE since his 2024 arrival, with WrestleVotes Radio reporting on Saturday that Page has earned a strong internal reputation through his work in NXT, AAA, and now on the main roster.

The update came hours before Page challenges Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN. The Page-Penta match is Page’s first WWE main roster title shot and the biggest match of his WWE career to date.

Per WrestleVotes: “On the day of the biggest WWE match of his career to date, it’s worth noting how well received Ethan Page has been internally since arriving in WWE back in 2024.

A source once described Page as extremely respectful and detail-oriented behind the scenes, something that many feel has translated onto television throughout his time in NXT, AAA, and now Monday Night Raw. Regardless of tonight’s outcome, those spoken to believe Page has positioned himself very well moving forward, especially considering how quickly he’s risen in a relatively short amount of time.”

Page signed with WWE in the summer of 2024 after his original AEW contract expired. He debuted on NXT and was positioned as a top heel in the development brand, eventually winning the NXT Championship. He has been working the main roster on Raw since early 2026 and has been integrated into the AAA cross-promotional programming since the partnership took effect.
