WWE has loaded up the card for the Bad Blood PLE that takes place this Saturday. However, a notable bout wasn’t booked on the card.
GUNTHER defending the World Heavyweight Title against Sami Zayn will take place on Monday’s Raw and not Bad Blood. As previously reported, Roman Reigns & Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu will headline the show. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell will open the show.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that they were told WWE felt they didn’t need the match on the show and would rather use it as a way to boost Raw.
Meltzer added, “And based on ticket sales and secondary market demand, that would be correct. They don’t need that match on this show.”
As previously reported, WWE is bringing in legends for Bad Blood.
