Vince McMahon is not expected to attend his daughter Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Hall of Fame induction this Friday night in Las Vegas.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation who spoke with WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, McMahon is not currently planned to appear at the ceremony. One contact told Fightful that while it remains possible plans could change at the last minute, WWE is not planning for McMahon to be in attendance and no additional measures are in place to facilitate an appearance.
Stephanie McMahon is headlining the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class alongside AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, Sycho Sid, and Bad News Brown. Triple H, her husband, has spoken extensively about her induction in recent days, crediting her with transforming WWE’s internal culture from what he described as a cutthroat environment into a family.
Vince McMahon resigned from WWE in 2022 amid a sexual misconduct scandal and has since faced additional legal proceedings. His absence from the ceremony means he will not be present as Stephanie is honored for her contributions to the business both on-screen and behind the scenes.
The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place this Friday, April 17 at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, streaming live on the ESPN app in the United States and on YouTube internationally starting at midnight Eastern and 9 p.m. Pacific.
