A few months back, there was talk of Dave Bautista being inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame. It turns out that the HOF rumors were true but he turned down the offer because he has more left in the tank.
Wrestling clothing store grplgme recently caught up with him and asked about a possible return to WWE. “I would love to go back. I’ve been very vocal about that. Never say never.” Batista said.
“This is why I haven’t accepted any nomination into the WWE Hall Of Fame. I just don’t feel like my career is over. I feel like I have plenty to offer but now it’s a scheduling issue and it’s also a creative issue. Never say never. I’d love to go back.”
This isn’t the first time Batista has expressed a desire to go back. He has said in previous interviews that he’d like to wrestle at non-televised events because there is more freedom on those shows and he’s not a huge fan of the over scripting of the TV product. He was also asked about a potential match with John Cena but he doesn’t think that will happen.
