Bayley has spoken positively of injured AEW star Kyle Fletcher during a Twitter Q&A this week, telling fans she admires his work and the intensity he brings to everything.
The exchange came during a Q&A Bayley held on X this week, where a fan asked her thoughts on Fletcher. “I’m such a huge fan of his work. Intensity in everything he does.”
Bayley returned to live event work on Friday with NXT in Buffalo as part of an ongoing tour and was also a featured WWE Backlash advisor for SmackDown’s Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green storyline.
Fletcher has been sidelined since suffering a meniscus tear and additional leg injuries during a tag team match against The Rascalz on the March 28, 2026 episode of AEW Collision. He worked through the injury to finish the match and pick up the win alongside Mark Davis but required medical attention during the bout and was visibly favoring his leg. He has since been seen wearing a protective walking boot at AEW events.
The 26-year-old Australian was forced to vacate the AEW TNT Championship as a result of the injury, with Kevin Knight subsequently winning the vacant title in a Casino Gauntlet match. Per the latest reporting, Fletcher is not yet close to an in-ring return. He has been seen backstage at AEW events in May, but no return timeline has been announced.
Fletcher signed with AEW in early 2022 after rising through Australian and UK indie scene as one half of Aussie Open with Mark Davis. He has held the AEW TNT Championship twice and was the dominant force in The Don Callis Family stable across 2024 and 2025 before his second TNT title reign was cut short by the injury.
