Bayley talks expected return timetable and current injury status

The Hugger has been out of action for a couple weeks due to a separated shoulder thanks to the fact Nia Jax plays very rough. She had to give up her coveted SummerSlam match against Alexa Bliss due to her injury.

When Bayley talked to PW Insider  a lot of people were hoping for more solid answers regarding her future. Unfortunately things werenโ€™t so clear for Bayley in that regard.

โ€œI just started physical therapy,โ€ said Bayley. โ€œSo, for right now, Iโ€™ve never had an injury before thatโ€™s kept me out before, so Iโ€™m kind of taking it day to day. Iโ€™m not really sure how long [she will be out of action]โ€ฆit itโ€™s a couple of months or if itโ€™s a few months of whatโ€™s it going to be right now. But, itโ€™s separated, itโ€™s a grade-two separation. Itโ€™s like the AC joint and the ligaments and all that stuff, so itโ€™s not easy.โ€

The Hugger also spoke about how her shoulder is doing and some of the limitations sheโ€™s experiencing besides not being able to get in the ring.

โ€œJust within the past couple of weeks, I think itโ€™s been two weeks now, Iโ€™ve actually been able to move it a little bit and the swelling has gone down a lot. So, the motion is coming back a little bit more, but itโ€™s more about getting the strength and being able to lift my arm in front of me. Like I canโ€™t do my own hair and itโ€™s really hard to do certain things, but Iโ€™m just trying to get back as soon as possible, but at a safe pace as well.โ€

We really do wish Bayley the speediest recovery time. But things like this happen in the dangerous world of professional wrestling. Weโ€™re just glad sheโ€™s on the right track to being cleared for a return to work once again.
