Becky Lynch on Ronda Rousey: “I think she tried to cut off her own finger to avoid facing me”

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has sounded off on whether fans will see Ronda Rousey back in time for WrestleMania 37 next year.

Lynch beat Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match. Rousey has since been on hiatus from WWE.

Lynch gave a funny take about this question while speaking with Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com.

“I don’t know. We haven’t seen her. She’s been off crying or doing whatever she is. I think she tried to cut off her own finger to avoid facing me. Is that what happened?! I heard that’s what happened. So I don’t know. We’ll see.”

Lynch is referring to Rousey nearly losing her finger while on the set of FOX’s ‘9-1-1.’ last year.

The injury happened when she slammed a door on her finger while filming last week in Mexico. At the time, it was reported that the broken middle finger was repaired with bolt and screws.
