Bianca Belair Provides Injury Update: ‘It Feels Like I’m Constantly Starting Over’

Former WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has been out of action since WWE WrestleMania 41, but she has now shared the latest injury recovery update with her dedicated fanbase. The multi-time champion has been transparently updating her followers on social media regarding her journey back to the squared circle.

In a series of latest videos uploaded on her Instagram account, Belair shared moments from her ongoing recovery therapies. Throughout the video, Belair seemed to be in visible pain as she flinched while going through her prescribed physical therapy routines.

The road to recovery has been a long one for the “EST of WWE,” marking one of the most significant physical setbacks of her professional career. Belair recently underwent a necessary surgery in February 2026 to address the lingering issues with her finger, ultimately extending her time away from active in-ring competition. Belair further noted the severe aftermath of her medical appointments while sharing a picture of her finger tightly wrapped in a bandage. She explained to her followers that the progression is often halted by the physical reality of the healing process following such a delicate surgical procedure.

“Most days after therapy this is what happens. My finger just stiffens back up.”

Last year, Belair faced off against IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The triple threat encounter was widely praised by critics and fans alike, and many considered it one of the absolute best matches of the event. However, the physical toll of the bout was significant, as Belair emerged from the match with a severe finger injury that ultimately kept her off the shelf for months. Despite her best efforts to rehabilitate the digit, the frustration of the painfully slow healing process was clearly evident in her recent update.

“It feels like I’m constantly starting over and everything, it’s painful.”

While she has not competed in an official match since the injury occurred, Belair has made limited on-screen appearances for the company to remain connected with the WWE Universe. Although she returned as a special guest referee at the Evolution 2025 premium live event, Belair has strictly stayed away from in-ring action to protect her hand from further damage. She noted the rigorous, round-the-clock schedule she must adhere to in order to regain full mobility in her hand.

“Every hour I’m trying to move it so eventually it won’t be this way. Also, trying to keep scar tissue from forming again.”

We wish her a speedy recovery.
