Big increase for this week’s (8/5/19) WWE Monday Night Raw viewership

WWE got some good news this week with the Raw Viewership.

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw drew 2,473,000 viewers. That is up from last week’s 2,321,000 viewers and a good sign heading into SummerSlam on Sunday.

It looks like Paul Heyman’s influence may be starting to pay off. The shows are better lately even though there is still more work that needs to be done to hopefully, get the numbers back over 3 million on a weekly basis.

This week’s show included the final hype for SummerSlam including another Brock Lesnar beatdown of Seth Rollins, the continuation of the Roman Reigns attack mystery, and the return of Goldberg to announce that he would be facing Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam.

This week’s show saw a nice increase for the second hour and a decrease for the final hour but the final hour drew more viewers than the first and that is not a common thing to see these days.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:

8 pm – 2,411,000 viewers
9 pm – 2,571,000 viewers
10 pm – 2,438,000 viewers
