Big E: Kofi Kingston And Xavier Woods ‘Still Have A Lot More To Show’

Big E is confident that his New Day brothers, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, still have plenty left to offer the wrestling world.

In a recent interview with BZZR, the WWE star addressed the futures of his longtime tag team partners, whose next steps have become a talking point. Big E made clear he doesn’t see either man hanging up his boots anytime soon.

“We’ve had a lot of discussions lately about what’s next, and I don’t expect those guys to be retiring,” Big E said. “I think they still have a lot more to show.”

Big E believes that Kingston and Woods, also known as Austin Creed, will approach their next chapter with plenty of motivation, wherever it takes them.

“I think they’re going to go out there, wherever they end up wrestling, with a big chip on their shoulders and something to prove,” he said. “I’m excited for them.”

The trio formed The New Day back in 2014 and went on to become one of the most successful and beloved factions in WWE history. Together, they captured the tag team titles on numerous occasions, including a record-setting reign.

Individually, both men have carved out legacies of their own. Kingston captured the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35. Woods has been a multi-time tag champion and King of the Ring winner, in addition to building a following through his gaming ventures.

As for Big E himself, his in-ring career was cut short by a serious neck injury. While his own days between the ropes may be behind him, he remains one of Kingston and Woods’ biggest supporters as they weigh what comes next.
