With the WWE Evolution premium live event approaching on July 13, another WWE Hall of Famer is being discussed for a spot on the card. According to a report from Fightful, WWE sources expressed interest in having Trish Stratus appear and compete at the show in Atlanta.
During the Night of Champions weekend, sources indicated that although nothing was finalized, interest was present. The report also stated that potential creative options are available for Stratus should she be part of the show.
This follows a previous report from WrestleVotes which noted that a return for Stratus was “right around the corner” and had even been scripted for a recent SmackDown episode before being changed. With the card for the all-women’s event still taking shape, the addition of a legend like Trish Stratus would add significant star power.
