Big Name Was Backstage At WWE x AAA Worlds Collide

PWInsider.com reports that The Undertaker was backstage at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event in Los Angeles. The show, which featured talent from the recently acquired AAA promotion, took place at the Kia Forum in front of a live crowd of just over 10,000.

Sources indicate the Roldan family, who previously owned AAA, were very happy with how the promotion and its stars were presented to WWE fans. The event received high marks internally, with Corey Graves being praised for his work as the lead announcer. There is already talk within WWE about developing merchandise for AAA star Mr. Iguana.

Many of the talents met at the WWE Performance Center earlier in the week to practice their matches.

A wide array of merchandise was available at the event, including shirts for Rey Mysterio, the LWO, Psycho Clown, Stephanie Vaquer, and specific event shirts including Chad Gable vs. Vikingo, a women’s tag team bout shirt, and an “I Was There” Worlds Collide commemorative tee.
