Billy Gunn Says Road Dogg Will Never Wrestle Again: Not Even ‘Elon Musk Has Enough Money’ To Get Him Back In The Ring

Billy Gunn has addressed the chances of a New Age Outlaws in-ring reunion following Road Dog’s recent departure from WWE, and his message is clear. Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Gunn was asked whether the New Age Outlaws could wrestle together again following Brian James’ exit from the company.

Gunn was asked if Road Dogg will wrestle again. “No, let’s not be silly,” Gunn said.”

When asked if the New Age Outlaws could wrestle again. “No. One of them could, if the other one just stood there and watched. He could do that. I don’t even think Elon Musk has enough money to get him to come in. Don’t get me wrong, but the wrestling part is not in him. He loves the business, yes, but he’s not that part of it, not the physical part of it. Other stuff he’s magnificent at. So if you’re looking to see us, we’re everywhere except for in a wrestling ring together. You’ll see me there, not him,” Gunn said.

He also noted that the news of Road Dog’s WWE departure generated an immediate reaction from people around them.

“Now that my old, good partner and friend Road Dog is no longer working that company, we are everywhere. My wife’s phone just blew up,” Gunn said.

James departed WWE’s creative team in March after years with the company in various roles, including co-lead writer for SmackDown and Senior Vice President of Live Events.
