Former AEW star Brandi Rhodes appears to be closer to returning to the ring for WWE.

PWInsider reports that Rhodes wrestled during an in-house live event last Friday. The in-house events are done to give the developmental talent more reps so they can improve their in-ring work.

Rhodes is currently not listed on the NXT roster but her return to the ring is a step forward for her because she has noted in the past that she wanted to wrestle more and she has been working hard on improving her in-ring work.

The last time Rhodes wrestled was in January for AEW in a match against KiLynn King. No word yet on when she might appear on NXT or main roster TV.
