Braun Strowman says being left off SummerSlam card “was a pretty tough pill for me to swallow”

Braun Strowman recently spoke with Sportskeeda.com about the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena on the WWE Network.

This is widely considered to be the third biggest show of the year for WWE just behind WrestleMania and Royal Rumble. Thus, some thought it was odd for WWE to leave him off the card because he’s one of the top stars in the company.

Strowman handled it well when asked about it.

“Yeah, [being left off] was a pretty tough pill for me to swallow,” Braun admitted. “But, at the same time, with me not being in a storyline, they didn’t just want to shoehorn me in [or] just to have me on there for no reason. They’re doing a good job of making sure that any time Braun’s on TV, it’s something impactful.”

It appears that WWE is setting him up for a big match at the Clash of Champions show. For more on that click here.
