Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez continues to express his interest in the WWE.
While doing a recent interview on an episode of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, the UFC star mentioned how he’s been a WWE fan since he was a kid and that he enjoyed his experience when training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida this past summer.
“It’s an opportunity that I wanted to do,” he said, “and I would like to work with them even more so in the future.” Although, he made it known that the UFC remains his primary focus for now.

At the time of his training at the WWE PC, he talked with WWE.com about the experience. This was when he stated, “My experience here has been amazing,” he said. “I’m just looking forward to being here and learning as much as I can. I’ve been a fan of the sport since I was a little kid, and now I get to participate in it.”
The former UFC Heavyweight Champion is slated to fight title contender Francis Ngannou in the headliner of UFC on ESPN that is set to take place on Saturday, February 17, 2019 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
