Chelsea Green: ‘At This Point, I’ve Broken My Nose Five Times’

Chelsea Green has a running tally, and it is not short.

Asked on TMZ Inside The Ring whether her heart condition ever made her think her WWE career might be over, Green answered with a list.

“Look, at this point, I’ve broken my nose five times. I broke my collarbone. I broke my ankle. I broke my arm three times. Like, there’s nothing that’s going to stop me from wrestling unless I was dead.”

She then admitted the surgery got to her in a way the broken bones had not.

“I like to have a positive outlook and be optimistic and things like that, but I will admit, going into the surgery, like literally being wheeled away, I definitely shed a tear and I was getting a little bit nervous, because things get very real once you’re in that hospital and you’re hooked up to IVs and they’re explaining a procedure and you just realize you’re in so deep.”

“This is not something that’s minimal. This is something that I have to be so unbelievably careful with moving forward.”

Green underwent surgery earlier this year for supraventricular tachycardia and has been back on SmackDown weekly since. She competes in the ladder match to crown an interim WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam this weekend.
