CM Punk comments on WWE hiring more indy wrestlers as of late

Former WWE star and now UFC fighter CM Punk was recently interviewed by SevereMMA about joining the UFC, UFC 189 and more. Down below is an excerpt from the interview in which he talks about how WWE is hiring more independent wrestlers as of late.

“I think it’s funny now when you look at the pro wrestling landscape, all the guys that they’re hiring, all the guys that they’re putting on television. I can honestly say I don’t know if that happens if a guy like me and a guy like (Samoa) Joe don’t take a chance. Everybody’s talented in their own right but everything that I was made fun of and vilified for by management is what they’re looking for in guys and I wear that as a badge of honor.”
