CM Punk has an interesting response to fan asking about his favorite WrestleMania

CM Punk gave an interesting answer to a fan wanting to know which WrestleMania event was his favorite.

Punk responded to the fan on Twitter where he noted it was WrestleMania 30. This is interesting because Punk didn’t work the show.

This show was held on April 6, 2014 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA. Originally, Punk was supposed to wrestle Triple H at this show.

This match with Triple H was something that Punk at the time wasn’t happy with. He took a hiatus and later fired by WWE.

As a result, WWE had to make changes to the card which saw Daniel Bryan face Triple H that ultimately led to him winning the main event to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

Punk talked about during his famous appearance on Colt Cabana’s podcast how he was so happy for Bryan to get the main event spot at WrestleMania because he deserved it. Working the headliner of WrestleMania was the ultimate goal for Punk before walking away from wrestling.

Thus, this could be a reason why Punk stated WrestleMania 30 was his favorite.
