On possibly fighting again: “I don’t think it’s UFC or bust,” Punk said. “I’m definitely in a weird position, you know what I mean? There are other places out there but would I go, should I go? Deserves got nothing to do with it. I still look at it like the world’s my oyster. I’m fortunate enough to kinda pick and choose. I’d be the first to admit – you know me, I’m brutally honest – probably doesn’t make a lot of sense for me to fight in the UFC again. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.”
Punk also said that he will take opportunities as they come. He said, “If there’s a deadline it’s coming up at the end of the year.” Punk said that he has not been offered to fight elsewhere.
On a potential return to pro wrestling: “That’s like an escape hatch. There’s nothing that interests me in wrestling.”
Punk also said that he did talk to Matt Jackson about All In but it was a vague offer and he never really got an official offer to appear on the show.
On Colby Covington using his “Trump supporter” gimmick to promote his fights: “It’s racist. Anything to do with racism is bulls—. I get what Colby is doing but I don’t appreciate it. I just ignore it.”
Punk said that he hasn’t done interviews since his last fight because he lost and there’s not much to talk about and he’s been busy. He is the host of Netflix’s “Beastmaster” and he is starring in the upcoming horror movie titled “Girl on the 3rd Floor.”
