There are conflicting reports coming out of WWE on what is actually going to happen with NXT when the show starts back up as a live broadcast on September 15.
As noted earlier, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez heard from people saying that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard would be involved with the production of the show. Alvarez said that he heard people saying that McMahon would be more hands on but Meltzer said that people in WWE told him that McMahon would handle the big picture things on the show. Meltzer also stated that he was told about a list of names that are on the chopping block and the names are people who have been under contract for a while. Meltzer added that the idea for the new logo came from Kevin Dunn.
WrestleVotes reported today that sources in the company are saying that the day-to-day operation is not changing that drastically and things are still in the hands of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, William Regal, Matt Bloom, and company.
However, the look of the show will have a “Vince & Co” stamp on it. That lines up with what Meltzer reported today on Wrestling Observer Radio. It’s looking like we may see some changes at the start but other things will happen gradually.

After talking to sources regarding NXT: the day to day operation isn’t changing that drastically. Still very much in the hands of HHH, HBK, Regal, Bloom etc
However, the look of the weekly TV product will have a “Vince & Co” stamp on it. I expect it to be subtle to start… then?
