Could Jinder Mahal be WWE Champion through WrestleMania 34?

The Dakota Kai vs Kavita Devi match from the Mae Young Classic had 1.431 million views on YouTube. This greatly eclipsed any of the other contests uploaded from the Mae Young Classic. It turns out a bunch of Indian news websites posted the video which is why the viewership skyrocketed for this match. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that this is one of the main reasons WWE isn’t giving up on Jinder Mahal.

“Basically you’re wondering why WWE is going heavy into India, the answer’s right there,” Alvarez said. “So I’ve said it before if you’re expecting them to give up on Jinder Mahal anytime soon, I still predict that he’s going to be champion all the way through WrestleMania.”

“If they do a four-way at Hell In A Cell that’s even more likely. Like a one-on-one match in Hell In A Cell, nobody can get in that’s just not what they’re doing with the guy. He’s always having interference. He could easily steal a pin in a four-way at Hell In A Cell. So I do expect they’ll do something like that, screw somebody somehow and Jinder gets the win. But I think he’s gonna be champion for a while. I don’t think they’re giving up.”

Jinder Mahal is actually a fine heel champion and he looks good with his WWE Championship. If WWE can keep figuring out ways for him to keep his title as a dastardly heel he very well could hold on to the title until Mania at this rate.
