You can add Cris Cyborg to the list as the latest celebrity/athlete looking to cash-in with a match (or two) in WWE. Cris Cyborg has laid down the challenge for Becky Lynch and it looks like she wants the match at SummerSlam. Her latest post on Instagram is a follow up to some things she said about Lynch on Twitter earlier this week and a tease from WWE.com.
WWE teased that we could see Cyborg at SummerSlam.
Will we be seeing @criscyborg at #SummerSlam? @BeckyLynchWWE would certainly have NO problem with that! https://t.co/ljQJYKRDzT

Cyborg replied:
Ive heard others say they will get n the ring with me until it becomes real! then they give back the belt! @BeckyLynchWWE would do the same!

Cyborg wrote the following on her Instagram account: “#summerslam I hear @beckylynchwwe is willing to welcome #cyborgnation to the @wwe! Then maybe @tripleh can finally give the fans #rouseyvscyborg #wrestlemania”

Right now, none of this seems to be something being done with WWE’s (a WWE.com article doesn’t count since they are probably just happy to get the extra page views) approval but I would not be shocked if something was worked out down the line, especially if WWE can get Ronda Rousey involved. Speaking of Rousey, she was at the Mae Young Classic tapings. If you missed it, click here to see what happened when WWE’s Four Horsewomen (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley) faced off for the first time with MMA’s Four Horsewomen (Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke).
