Dana White Addresses Possible Brock Lesnar Return for UFC 300

Brock Lesnar is on another hiatus from WWE after wrapping up his feud with Cody Rhodes that started after WrestleMania 39, where they worked three matches, with their final bout coming at SummerSlam.

Lesnar is expected to return to WWE in January for the Royal Rumble and road to WrestleMania 39.

Lesnar holds a 5-3 (1 NC) pro-MMA record, including a run for the UFC World Heavyweight Title. He retired from MMA following a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 and returned to WWE in 2012. Lesnar came out of retirement for a fight at UFC 200 in 2016.

Lesnar’s win over Mark Hunt was later overturned after he tested positive for hydroxy clomiphene, a banned substance since it is used in coordination with a steroid cycle. This marked the first and only time that Lesnar had fought while being tested by USADA.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated, UFC President Dana White ruled out the possibility of a Lesnar UFC return for UFC 300, which is set to take place next spring,

“Brock looks good, doesn’t he? He always does. I think Brock’s done. I don’t think he ever comes back.”
