Danhausen Among Top Three Merch Sellers Across WWE WrestleMania Weekend

Danhausen has delivered with merchandise numbers, this time finishing in the top three for in-stadium sales at WrestleMania 42 despite not even competing on the show.

According to Fightful Select, CM Punk finished first in in-stadium merchandise sales at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, followed by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in second. Danhausen finished third, an extraordinary result for a performer who debuted in WWE just a couple of months ago and appeared in a segment rather than a match at WrestleMania 42.

WrestleVotes on Fightful Select previously reported that WWE was blown away by Danhausen’s sales figures during WrestleMania weekend, noting that multiple restocks were required to keep up with demand. Fanatics was said to have been equally impressed, with Danhausen expected to be added to the Fanatics Fest lineup as a result of the reception he generated.

The numbers reflect how quickly Danhausen has connected with WWE’s audience since his debut at Elimination Chamber in Chicago earlier this year. WWE has moved to capitalize on his popularity, recently filing trademarks for several Danhausen-related terms. It was also reported in the lead-up to WrestleMania that WWE had considered putting Danhausen’s likeness on the Las Vegas Sphere as part of the show’s promotional campaign.

Finishing third in in-stadium merchandise sales ahead of WrestleMania veterans with years of established audiences behind them is a striking early indicator of just how much of an impact Danhausen has made in a very short period of time.
