Dexter Lumis Pens Emotional Farewell After WWE Release: ‘I Won’t Look Back With Any Regrets’

Dexter Lumis has broken his silence following his WWE release, penning an emotional farewell message to his fans and his Wyatt Sicks faction members.

Lumis was among the talent released as part of WWE’s latest round of roster cuts ahead of the April 24 edition of SmackDown. Several of his Wyatt Sicks stablemates were also among those let go. Hours after news of his release broke, Lumis took to Instagram to share his thoughts.

“Won’t make this too sappy, but I love each and every member of this group. The task we took on together was truly monumental. I won’t look back with any regrets. Thank you to anyone who ever worked with me and us. The WWE locker room is filled with amazing talent,” Lumis wrote.

He also addressed the fans who supported the Wyatt Sicks throughout their run, touching on the weight of carrying on Bray Wyatt’s legacy.

“To the fans of Wyatt Sicks, we truly felt Bray’s presence each and every time we made our entrance. I would like to think most of you did too,” Lumis wrote.

He closed his message by quoting CM Punk: “If your dreams don’t scare the shit out of you, you need bigger dreams.”

Lumis first joined WWE in 2019 before being released in 2022. After a brief stint on the independent circuit, he returned to WWE later that same year and remained with the company until his 2026 release. He is a former WWE tag team champion alongside Joe Gacy on the main roster and was a core member of the Wyatt Sicks faction alongside Uncle Howdy and others who carried the torch for the late Bray Wyatt following his passing in August 2023.
