Daniel Bryan makes a bold statement concerning his WWE future

Daniel Bryan was forced to retire and it was a sad day that we all probably remember like it was yesterday, especially Titus O’Neil because he was almost fired for touching Vince McMahon that night.

Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard got some words out of Daniel Bryan recently concerning his future and The Bearded GOAT had some very interesting things to say about a specific timeframe in which he might figure things out.

“I assume that if I don’t wrestle by WrestleMania, I probably won’t be wrestling with WWE at all,” said Bryan. “That’s my assumption.”

“It’s not a black and white answer,” Daniel Bryan continued. “There are a lot of issues with me getting cleared by WWE. They have a very strict protocol, which is a good thing, but the timeline of all that happening was not the best for me. It’s an interesting situation that will develop.”

So it looks like if Daniel Bryan isn’t wrestling by Mania, he’s not going to wrestle for WWE again. Of course, he admits this is an assumption, but it could also contain a little bit of hinting at the desired outcome as well. In all honesty, if Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract is set to expire before SummerSlam then WrestleMania 34 would be the last ideal time to bring him back to the ring.

Therefore, if WWE won’t allow Daniel Bryan to wrestle again, it could be plausible that this time next year the pro wrestling world will be caught up in the anticipation of Daniel Bryan making his Wrestle Kingdom debut for New Japan.  After all, he did say an interesting situation will develop and Daniel Bryan making a jump over to New Japan sounds pretty interesting to me.
