Jordynne Grace had a blunt message for fans this week after a lighthearted social media clip turned into a conversation about wrestler safety, and AEW’s Deonna Purrazzo followed with a troubling account of her own.
The WWE star posted an Instagram clip showing what she called an “adult hack”: climbing into her outdoor trash bin to compact the garbage so the lid would close and she could avoid an overflow charge. Some viewers pointed out that part of her home was visible in the background.
When one fan noted that wrestlers wonder how people find their addresses while posting videos that show their homes, Grace replied bluntly: “Come to my house if you want. I have seven dogs and a gun.”
She expanded on the issue on X, framing it as a concern for anyone in the public eye.
“Anyone in the public eye should have some type of security,” Grace wrote. “There are too many people with evil intentions and it’s virtually impossible to scrub your address from the internet.”
Deonna Purrazzo shares her own experience
Purrazzo, who wrestles for AEW and Ring of Honor, replied to Grace with a personal account that underscored how serious the problem can become.
“Last August, a man drove 2 hrs from CT to meet me at WrestleCon, thinking we were in a relationship,” Purrazzo wrote. “I had let him down gently that he had been catfished. The next day, he drove back to CT to watch me wrestle at a local show. This is why I train with firearms. This is why I carry pepper spray. This is why I have an alarm on my keychain.”
Purrazzo added that she tried to file a police report in Orlando but was told the incident could not be documented there because it did not happen in Florida.
A wider conversation
The exchange feeds into a broader discussion among wrestlers about leaked addresses and unwanted visitors. A number of performers have spoken publicly in recent months about people locating their homes or contact information.
