In an article on their website, WWE has confirmed HoHo Lun’s departure from the company. As it turns out, it was actually Lun’s decision to leave the company and he was granted his release two weeks ago.
Lun told WWE.com that he needed to take care of his ailing mother. “I went to Hong Kong for vacation about three weeks ago and that’s when I realized that my mother is sick,” he said. Lun says that he decided to talk to Matt Bloom so he could get his release.
It’s a tough break for him because he was scheduled to be on the card for WWE’s tour of China next month. However, the door seems to be open for him to return someday. He thanked WWE and the fans and then said, “I hope that they can keep following me with my next journey, because I will be making history by helping the scene in Asia. And maybe one day, I can come back to WWE again and perform as a WWE Superstar.”
We wish him well. The story noted that he has already lined up bookings in Singapore and Macau.
