There was reportedly another situation at the end of the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view
PWInsider reports that Drew McIntyre stormed out of the ring after the WarGames match. This happened just seconds before CM Punk’s music played. McIntyre reportedly stormed to the backstage area and slammed his locker room door and then threw on a hoodie and left the arena
It was stated that it was obvious to everyone backstage that he was angry but there’s no word on why. In the clip below, McIntyre could be seen holding his eye. It’s unclear if he was legitimately hurt or if he was just selling but what is known is that McIntyre was so angry when he got to the back that it became a “loud and obvious situation” that was seen by a lot of people.
On a side note, McIntyre and WWE have not come to terms on a new deal. PWInsider reported on Saturday that McIntyre is willing to let his contract expire so he can spend time with his family in Scotland since the WWE schedule only allows him to see his family for short periods of time.
