Former WWE star Eva Marie saw the kind words shared by WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley when she made an appearance on Fair Game with Kristine Leahy on FS1 for an interview. This was where Bayley was asked what was her favorite storyline so far in her career, which is when she recalled a storyline with Marie.
Marie responded to Bayley on her official Twitter account and noted that she appreciated Bayley’s help in the ring. At the end of the tweet, Marie noted that she’d return to WWE just to have another match with Bayley.
“Bayley taught me so much about in ring performance, and always went above and beyond to show me the ropes,” Marie wrote. “My matches with her were hands down my favorite! I would come back just to do a run with her!”

Marie hasn’t worked a match since July 10, 2016 at a live event against Becky Lynch. Since then, she has continued her work as a model and found success acting.
