UPDATE: The Amalie Arena has deleted the tweet about photos and videos being prohibited.
ORIGINAL: The Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida has announced that fans will not be allowed to take photos or video during tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown.
Fans who do not comply with the rule will be ejected from the building. Also, the arena is encouraging fans to wear a mask.
It’s unclear what causes the arena to put in place the photo and recording restriction. Typically, video recording is frowned upon, especially when it comes to spoiling shows but photos are usually not a problem.
The tweet from the arena states the following: “TONIGHT – @WWE #SmackDown is in the building! There will be a strict NO photo/video recording policy tonight. Failure to comply will result in ejection. Wearing a mask is highly encouraged.”
Tonight’s SmackDown will feature a match between Baron Corbin and Finn Balor. Balor is looking for revenge after Corbin ruined the contract signing for a match with Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
