First Star Advances To King Of The Ring Semifinals With Raw Win

Oba Femi advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, winning a fatal four-way over Solo Sikoa, Penta, and Carmelo Hayes on Monday’s Raw from the Inalpi Arena in Turin.

The win came a night after Femi lost to Brock Lesnar at Clash in Italy — a fast turnaround that had him back on TV and back in the win column inside 24 hours.

Femi pinned Sikoa with a Fall From Grace, but not before WWE teased him out of the match entirely. Talla Tonga sent him into the crowd and over the barricade, and for a moment it looked like he was done. Femi climbed back, took out Tonga, Hayes, and Penta, then put Sikoa away.

Tonga’s run-in tied the finish to the Bloodline. Sikoa had the faction behind him going in, and that kind of outside interference tends to decide WWE’s multi-man matches — so Femi fighting through it only adds to the head of steam he’s built since Sunday.

In a post-match promo, Femi addressed the Lesnar loss. He said he took Lesnar’s best shot and was still standing the next day, reminded him they’re 1-1 head-to-head, and promised he’d see him down the line.

That 1-1 line matters. Femi beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 for a breakthrough win, and Lesnar evened the score at Clash in Italy, which leaves the door open for a third match. It lines up with JBL’s call on Something to Wrestle that the program could stretch to a third or fourth bout, maybe landing at SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis. For now, though, Femi’s eyes are on the tournament, with the Lesnar rematch further down the road.

Femi’s semifinal opponent will be Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, or Damian Priest. The King of the Ring finals take place at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 27, alongside the Queen of the Ring finals, with both winners earning World title shots at SummerSlam 2026.

Still alive in the field: Oba Femi, Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, Damian Priest, Seth Rollins, Je’Von Evans, Talla Tonga, Ricky Saints, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor — a bracket deep enough that Rollins, Priest, Breakker, Knight, and Balor could all make a credible run.

There’s also the Roman Reigns angle to track: he called out both LA Knight and Royce Keys after Clash in Italy, giving each a second thread to follow into the SummerSlam build on top of their tournament runs.

The King of the Ring plays out across Raw and SmackDown over the next few weeks, splitting between Monday and Friday on the way to the Night of Champions finals.
