Matt Riddle will get another shot at the United States Championship but he will only get the shot if he is able to run the gauntlet on WWE Monday Night Raw.
WWE Has announed that Riddle will face Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and MVP in the gauntlet match. It was not said when Riddle would get his title shot if he wins but the Royal Rumble is a week away so it’s possible that the U.S. title match could be added to the show.
It was noted several weeks ago by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Riddle vs. Lashley was one of the matches scheduled for the Rumble pay-per-view.
In addition to the gauntlet match, Drew McIntyre and Goldberg will have an in-ring confrontation just days away from their WWE Championship match at the Rumble PPV.
