As noted last night, Finn Balor had to miss the WWE Smackville event in Nashville, Tennessee due to an illness. He was scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura but was replaced by Ali.
Balor posted a photo on Instagram that confirms that he is out with an illness.
A WWE source tells me that they are hoping that he will be fine within the next 48 hours for his match with Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown Live this Tuesday night.
If not, then obviously they would have to scrap the match. Either way, I’m told that this is nothing that will keep him out of action for too long and his match with Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam is still on as scheduled.
