WWE is looking to continue their momentum with the ratings being up as they get ready to go head-to-head with Monday Night Football on September 11. For those of you paying attention, they’ve been announcing big matches in advance over the last several weeks in an attempt to keep the ratings up.
They’ve announced another big match for this coming Monday’s show. Big Show will take on Braun Strowman in a steel cage match and WWE is hyping this as Strowman’s first time in a steel cage.
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are not scheduled for the show but will they be there on 9/11 so that is likely when we’ll see another confrontation between the big behemoths as they head toward’s the No Mercy pay-per-view.
Also scheduled for this Monday:
The Miz will defend the Intercontinental title against Jeff Hardy and they will follow-up on last week’s confrontation between John Cena and Roman Reigns. They will also follow-up on Nia Jax’ turning on Alexa Bliss. That will likely lead to a match at No Mercy.
