It’s a sad week in the world of social media.
It was pointed out by Garrett Kidney on Twitter that Hulk Hogan deleted his most famous tweet from 11 years ago.
David Bixenspon did a search on archive.org and noticed that the tweet had been deleted sometime between September 3 and 23. Someone quote tweeted as recently as late August. For those of you that missed it, the now-deleted tweet from Hogan said, “Goodnight HULKAMANIACS and jabronie marks without a life that don’t know it a work when you work a work and work yourself into a shoot, marks.””
The tweet was sent out around the time when there was outrage over some of the things Hogan was doing with TNA at the time. Around the time of the tweet, Bobby Roode (who was one of the hottest names in the company) lost to an injured Kurt Angle. Hogan was also in the main event of Bound For Glory that year.
Only just now realised that Hulk Hogan has deleted his greatest tweet – which was sent 11 years ago today.
