WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on Seth Rollins’ knee injury. Ross is sad to hear about the injury and brought up that a torn MCL generally takes about 6-8 weeks to heal and be cleared, which may allow Rollins to wrestle against Triple H at WrestleMania 33. He said that Rollins’ magnificent resolve rehabbing his last knee injury and that he has no doubt that Rollins will do the same again. He believes that Rollins vs. Triple H can be a tremendous match. “Unless Rollins experiences complications while rehabbing this latest injury, I am optimistic that the Rollins-HHH bout at Wrestlemania will proceed.”
Ross brought up the rumored WrestleMania 33 match that will see Nikki Bella & John Cena vs. Maryse & The Miz. He brought up that there is speculation about this being Bella’s last match. He noted that it does speak to what will be the disposition of the WWE Championship that Cena has won or essentially say that Cena may lose the championship at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event later this month. “If Miz and Maryse cost Cena’s 16th title in some form then the mixed tag concept for Wrestlemania has more credence.”
Ross also talked about XFL and more. You can read the entire blog here. If you haven’t done so, you can listen to the latest episode of the Ross Report by clicking here.
