John Cena kicked off this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Cleveland, Ohio.
Cena said he’s back to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam and he wanted to meet him face to face and he joked about changing his name to “Guardians” because he needs to protect the small amount of respect that WWE has left because Reigns “absolutely sucks.”
Cena said that the fans need to stand up and be heard and SummerSlam will be the chance for everyone to stand up for what they believe in. “Who’s team are you on?,” Cena asked as fans chanted his name.
Cena called Reigns out to the ring but Paul Heyman walked out instead and said that Cena is not worth Reigns listening to but Cena will get an answer to his challenge later in the show.
