Kenny Omega recently took part in a Q&A session for 4 Front Wrestling and the first question that came up was about his future and the rumors about a possible jump to WWE. Omega said that he has “75% made a decision” on his future.
He said, “if some of you guys are subscribers to the [WWE] Network and are looking forward to something happening or not happening on the 29th, I’m not sure if I could pull a rabbit out of the hat by that date. That’s all I can say for now. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible. I’m not saying anything. That might be asking too much at this point and time. That’s literally the most news I’ve given anyone up to this point.”
As noted before, Omega’s deal expires on 1/31 so that is what he is likely referring to. With that said, he is doing a great job at keeping people guessing and keeping people talking so I wouldn’t be surprised if he has already committed to a new deal with NJPW. I guess we’ll get answers within the next week or two. He also said that a career goal of his is to main event a WrestleMania with AJ Styles before his body deteriorates and before Styles retires.
