Kurt Angle: “It’s unfortunate my best years were with a smaller company and not WWE”

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did an interview with Mark Freund of WHO-HD where he answered some quick questions including a potential return to in-ring action.

Angle made it known that he’s done as an active in-ring performer. He currently works for WWE as a producer. Angle would then reflect on his career in WWE and TNA.

“My body is pretty banged up and I had a great career. It’s unfortunate that my best years were with a smaller company and not WWE. But that’s a choice I made. I did it for my own benefit, for my own health, and that was the right decision to make.”

Angle would talk about how he was able to travel all over the world both in amateur and pro wrestling. This is where he had the chance to see many things that most people don’t, which he took advantage of.

Angle added that he can look back now and say that he did that, which was the most interesting part of his career.

Angle lost to Baron Corbin in his farewell match at the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network.
