An update on where things stand with WWE and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez has surfaced online.
Wrestling Inc. reports that Velasquez successfully had his knee scoped recently and is feeling completely healthy. It was also noted that the former UFC star is down in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center “getting in reps” while preparing for his next match inside of the squared circle.
It was added that he’s slated to be at the training facility for the next two weeks.
Velasquez lost to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia late last year in his promotional in-ring debut.
He would then team up with Humberto Carrillo against Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson at a live event on November 30th at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
The former UFC stated last month that he was slated to work the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, which lined up with reports at the time. However, he didn’t and hasn’t been seen on WWE television since Crown Jewel.
