It appears that Eva Marie could be getting closer to making a WWE return.
Back in October, it was reported that Marie had signed a new deal with WWE to make a return to the company.
At the time, Marie underwent medical testing in order to enter the ThunderDome for TV events that week. WWE reached a deal with Marie during the week of September 20th.
Fightful Select reports that at one point, Marie was internally scheduled to appear on Monday’s Legends Night special episode of Raw. As it stands right now, there’s no definitive word on whether that will actually happen as she has not been advertised for the show in advance.
The report adds that Marie was backstage at the December 14th edition of Raw. She was dressed up to do promos at the event from Tropicana Field. There’s no word on when these promos will air.
Last month, Pwinsider.com reported that Marie hadn’t been assigned a brand just yet, but was on the roster. She was also at the Performance Center several times. The belief at the time was that she was likely there to train as she hasn’t worked a match since July 10, 2016 at a live event against Becky Lynch.
