WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia on October 21st for its next pay-per-view event in the country.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast first reported the news last month. Pwinsider.com provided the latest details for the event on Monday. Per the report, the show will be titled, Crown Jewel, which has been used in the past for events held in the country, and it will take place from Riyadh.
WWE does have a live SmackDown TV event booked the following night on October 22nd in Wichita, Kansas, which will be an 18-hour flight from Riyadh.
The last show that WWE held in Saudi Arabia was its Super ShowDown pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Mohammed Abdou Arena in February 2020.
Zarian reported last week that WWE will hold the finals of the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournament at this PPV event in October. The opening matches will start on the October 8th edition of SmackDown and continue on the October 11th episode of Raw.
