Logan Paul Says Doctors Told Him Six Month Recovery For Torn Tricep And He Does Not Believe Them

Logan Paul confirmed his torn tricep on X on Wednesday, sharing post-surgical photos and stating he underwent the procedure while wide awake by choice, that he was told to expect a six-month recovery, and that he plans to return much sooner than that.

“Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all,” Paul wrote. “Still the Tag Team champ just FYI. They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some PRIME shake (32g protein).”

The post included two images: a close-up of Paul’s arm showing a long row of surgical stitches running down the back of the elbow, and a photo of Paul in a recovery room following the procedure.

Paul was injured at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, when Angelo Dawkins hit a flipping senton to the outside during The Vision’s World Tag Team Championship defense against the Street Profits. WWE aired footage of the moment on Raw, showing Paul catching the dive and immediately favoring his left arm. The Vision retained the titles at the Fort Wayne show.

The injury was addressed on the May 26 edition of Raw, where Michael Cole announced Paul would be sidelined for months. Paul Heyman followed with an announcement that Austin Theory will now defend the World Tag Team titles alongside Bron Breakker in Paul’s absence rather than the titles being vacated. Theory was active on the same Raw broadcast, attacking Street Profits member Angelo Dawkins with repeated chair shots before officials and security intervened.

Paul had signed a full-time WWE contract earlier this year. The Vision stable has now lost two members to serious arm injuries, with Bronson Reed having been sidelined since February with a torn distal biceps.

Paul’s post on Wednesday was his first public statement on the injury following the Raw announcement. He and Theory have held the World Tag Team Championships together as The Vision. Paul has also previously held the WWE United States Championship, which he won in 2023.
