The main event of Monday Night Raw, which pitted new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Jey Uso against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, descended into chaos and ended with a shocking betrayal that has completely altered the landscape of the brand.
The match was made after Breakker, Reed, and Paul Heyman interrupted CM Punk’s championship address earlier in the night. The two powerhouses attacked both Punk and Logan Paul, who had also come to the ring to demand a title shot. This led to Punk and Uso teaming up to take on Heyman’s new clients in the final match of the night.
The hard-hitting tag team match came to an abrupt end when the action spilled to the outside. Jey Uso hit Bronson Reed with a spear, but Bron Breakker was there to break up any potential pin. All four men began brawling around the ringside area, forcing the referee to count both teams out of the ring for a double count-out.
Logan Paul’s Shocking Swerve
The fight did not stop after the bell. Breakker and Reed continued their assault, with Breakker hitting a devastating spear on both CM Punk and Jey Uso. Back in the ring, Breakker hit Jey with another spear, allowing Bronson Reed to crush him with the Tsunami from the top rope.
CM Punk grabbed a steel chair to fend off the two monsters, but he was interrupted by Logan Paul, who came running down to the ring holding a pair of brass knuckles. Paul, who had been attacked by Breakker and Reed earlier, stared down the men who had assaulted him, leading Punk and the audience to believe he was there to help.
After a dramatic pause, Logan Paul swerved everyone and hit CM Punk in the face with the brass knuckles, knocking the World Heavyweight Champion out cold. He then calmly handed the brass knuckles to Paul Heyman, who was standing at ringside, signaling a stunning and dangerous new alliance to close the show.
