Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson sign new WWE contracts

Earlier this week, we noted that people in WWE believed that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have either agreed to or were about to sign a new contract to stay with the company. This was a change from just a couple of weeks ago as many believed that they were on their way out of the company in September when their current contracts expired.

During Friday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that they have signed 5-year deals and that would explain why they are suddenly getting a push as part of the reformed Club faction with AJ Styles.

It’s no secret that WWE has been trying to prevent wrestlers from leaving to go to All Elite Wrestling because they don’t want fans to perceive AEW as the cool company, similar to when wrestlers were jumping to WCW in the first couple of years of the Monday Night War.

WWE has been making bigger offers to mid-card talent to get them to stay. There is still no word on The Revival’s plans when their contracts expire in early 2020.
