Matt Hardy Clarifies Recent Comments: ‘Without WWE, Jeff & I Aren’t Looked At As The GOATs. TNA Is Our Adult Home’

Matt Hardy has clarified his social media post from earlier this week, in which he referred to WWE as home while calling for The Hardy Boyz to challenge The Vision for the World Tag Team Championships, explaining that both WWE and TNA hold an important place in his life and career.

Following The Vision’s title victory on Raw, Hardy had posted that it would be a travesty to watch The Usos lose the titles to Logan Paul and Austin Theory and predicted the WrestleMania 42 crowd would go crazy if The Hardy Boyz beat them to bring the championships back home to WWE. The use of the word home while being signed to TNA drew attention, prompting Hardy to elaborate.

“Jeff and I have two homes, TNA and WWE,” Hardy wrote. “WWE is our childhood home. It’s where we grew up, where we learned to become superstar pro wrestlers, where we both succeeded and failed in life and work.

Without WWE, Jeff and I aren’t looked at as the GOATs. TNA is our adult home. TNA has allowed us to be men that bet on themselves and either sink or swim on their own. Without TNA, there’s no Broken Matt, Brother Nero, Anti-Christ, Willow or Big Money Matt. We’re thrilled our homes are partners together, making anything a possibility for House Hardy.”

The clarification speaks directly to the current WWE and TNA partnership, which has allowed for crossover appearances and storylines between the two promotions. The Hardy Boyz are currently four-time TNA World Tag Team Champions and competed on NXT last year as part of that working relationship.
