Matt Riddle once again got fans speculating over a potential showdown with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble PPV event.
Riddle did so when he shared an older photo on his official Twitter account that showed a sign giving directions to Lesnar’s locker room. He wrote the following in the caption of the photo:
“All I’m gonna say is watch WWE this week, [poop emoji] is about to get wild #stallion #ob #originalbro #kingofbros #splx #nxt #royalrumble2020.”
While there is speculation that NXT stars could be involved in both Royal Rumbles matches – Men’s and Women’s – the company has yet to confirm this.
There’s no word yet on if WWE has plans to use Riddle in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. However, there’s always the possibility of Riddle making a surprise entry in the contest.
WWE has already confirmed that Lesnar will enter the Royal Rumble Match as the first entrant.
A match with Lesnar is something that Riddle has talked about wanting for years.
