Mauro Ranallo issues statement on his WWE departure

In a statement posted on his official Facebook account, Mauro Ranallo has confirmed that he is leaving WWE. Ranallo said that he wants to focus on other projects and to mental health charities and he wants to dedicate time to his well-being and his mother.

As noted earlier, Corey Graves filled in for Ranallo at the TakeOver: XXX. Last week, Wade Barrett was brought back to fill in and he is not in talks with WWE about a full-time return.

Here is the full statement from Ranallo:

“Mauro Ranallo & WWE part ways.

Ranallo, “I appreciate the opportunity I had to realize my childhood dream of working in sports entertainment, and I wish WWE well in the future. Now I want to direct my focus and devote my time to my other projects and to my mental health charitable activities and the well-being of my mother and myself.”
